I'm running 5.1 because I hear there are problems with 5.5. I have a beat I'm trying to export that I used the step designer to make. Now maybe I'm ignorant on the step designer, but so far I 've found it best to make a loop with notes that trigger the right pattern, and then a loop with a "kill switch" where I trigger an empty pattern. This is what I did on this new project that I'm trying to export. problem is, everytime I export it, it starts in mid sequence of the pattern, throwing off the entire song. I tried to put the kill switch in front of it, moving everything back a bar, but it still does it. Of course I have the export loop set from bar 1. I noticed the precount button was on and I wasn't sure if this would affect my export so I turned that off. None of this has worked, it still starts 2 bars in on the four bar pattern. somebody please help me!!!! BTW when I play it in cubase it starts fine just the way it should!!!

Have you tried Exporting in Realtime?

Before you answer that, please enter your USB-eLicenser number in your Profile before the mods lock this thread.

put that in my profile, and yes I'm exporting in realtime without the batch channel mode checked (unsure of what this really even does) with the stereo out selected as what is being exported.

What happens if you record the beat internally, to an audio track?

Just tried to do that but I am unsure how (only been using this for about a month or so). How do I get an audio track to record from the midi track? my only options on the input seem to be those of my audio interface

I don't know your routing. Try setting up an audio track and hitting record, see what happens. doesn't work, we'll move on
